Our support services provide individuals with substance misuse problems and carers, a range of interventions to assist recovery.

1) Drop-In:

To provide an open door first point of contact with clients who are looking to address their drug problem. Also to provide a service to those who have addressed their drug problem but still have intermittent problems (often referred to ECLIPS if appropriate).

2) Advice & Information:
Provision of accurate, appropriate and professional advice and up-to-date information on all aspects of drug use including:

Advice and information is available to drug users, families, friends, wider community and other professionals. It is provided by a variety of means including verbal, written, face-to-face and telephone.

3) Assessment & Intervention:
Individuals accessing our counselling and support service benefit from a full assessment and comprehensive treatment plan. Key workers provide one-to-one support to assist individuals to achieve stability with their health and social needs.
Staff are fully trained in COSCA accredited counseling skills and motivational interviewing techniques to assist individuals through the process of change.

4) Referral:
To appropriate services to meet individual client needs.
