Welcome to CAIR Scotland

CAIR Scotland currently offers intensive support programmes; harm reduction services including blood borne virus interventions; sexual health and relationships programmes; drug and alcohol interventions and education programmes; employment rehabilitation and throughcare and aftercare services to some of scotlands most chaotic and vulnerable young people and adults. We provide these services in partnership with Local Authorities and NHS boards.

The Cairn Centre Hub

The Cairn Centre Hub is a partnership with CAIR Scotland, NHS Tayside Substance Misuse Service, Dundee City Council Connect and other voluntary sector partners including Children 1st, Addaction, Dundee North Law, Tayside Council on Alcohol. The Hub offers a drop-in recovery café run by volunteers, providing a warm and welcoming environment for anyone interested in recovery.

The atmosphere allows informal support for people with their recovery and a chance to socialise and meet other people in recovery. It also provides a backdrop for a variety of other support available including assessment for drug and alcohol treatment, Blood Borne Virus testing and treatment, dentistry, ophthalmology, sexual health services, Keep Well Health checks, welfare and legal advice, housing and homeless advice, SMART and SMART for families mutual aid, peer overdose prevention and naloxone as well as a variety of recovery groups helping people to develop new skills and interests.
